Annapurna & Everest Trek

Well the treks were a sensation, and all input by World Expeditions was faultless. The planning, all the personal, and the complete itinerary were superb. The scenery was spectacular. The people were so friendly. My highlights were- the day walking back to the bus from Landruk through all the beautiful villages and farms, getting to Everest Base Camp, and the views from Gokyo Ri and Kala Pattar. Thanks again for all your input to a superb month in Nepal.

Annapurna Chitwan Over 55's

This low altitude trek in the Annapurna foothills is specifically devised for our over 55's groups. We include time in the traditional Hindu villages where children regard the Himalaya as their playground. At each campsite we join our crew and the villagers in dancing, singing and games of volleyball and cricket. There is also time to visit the local schools and markets where cultural horizons are so different from our own. During the trek we appreciate the magnificent oak and rhododendron forests as we ascend to alpine meadows that afford spectacular views of the Annapurna Range. After completing our trek we travel to the Chitwan National Park and ride elephants in search of rhino and the Bengal tiger. This itinerary is also well suited to our over 55's.
