Trip highlights

In the North West of Tasmania are two of the most stunning and diverse regions in the whole state. Cradle Mountain is well known for its iconic views and the Tarkine, a less explored region is oft dubbed "The Forgotten Wilderness"

On this unique four day trip we will see these special places from a peaceful water perspective with the aid of the "foot powered - sit on top kayaks" these hybrid Canoe / Kayaks use a pedal system to enable everyone to enjoy the water without having to worry about paddle technique or splashes from the paddles

We will explore Dove Lake with fresh view points to Cradle Mountain sure to inspire. The Tarkine comprises a variety of landscapes from button grass plains, mountain ranges and isolated rivers which wind through amazing cool temperate rainforests. The river is a perfect way to explore the area, with many smaller tributaries and waterfalls only accessible by boat

There is plenty to see by foot as well with many walking options in the area, taking us from the heart of the rainforests to the summit of button grass covered slopes that give a spectacular view of the surrounds
