  TRANSPORT
Your safety and enjoyment is our main priority. All vehicles used on our Asian trips are regularly serviced, comfortable and driven by well trained drivers.
touring vehicles | Private, air-conditioned, versatile and driven by our expert local drivers. For most of our overland journeys or longer distance travel you will be touring using comfortable vehicles carrying no more than 16 travellers. These have forward facing seats, air conditioning and efficient and safe luggage storage.
4WD vehicles | In countries like Mongolia, where large distances are covered over rough terrain, you’ll be travelling in 4WD’s. These are sturdy and reliable working vehicles that provide relative comforts for travellers. They come with experienced local drivers who are well versed with the rigours of the terrain and are well maintained for the hard conditions.
e-bikes | On a handful of our Asian adventures, and growing, we are offering the option to travel by electric bike. These are standard bikes fitted with a battery that at your discretion, can be activated when you choose to take the pain out of hills and longer days where, once on, you’ll find yourself flying along with ease. It is no wonder these bikes are growing in popularity so quickly.
bikes | We typically cycle on quieter country streets and backroads, using modern mountain bikes. They feature lightweight aluminium frames and are perfect for mixed road conditions. The bikes are adjusted for you to ensure maximum comfort and safety. A support vehicle accompanies you should you need a break and to carry our expert local crew and bike mechanic.
kayaks & canoes | We have paddling adventures in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Mongolia, using sturdy canoes and standard two person kayaks. Don’t worry if you haven't kayaked before, your guide will give you a complete briefing before you paddle. However for maximum enjoyment, it is recommend that you try your hand at kayaking or canoeing before you go and practise the activity to develop upper body strength.
trains | Overnight trips in Asia are a pleasurable experience – drift off to sleep with the gentle sway of the train. Comfortable 4 berths are generally with pull down beds and a table for a game of cards or your refreshments. Carriages have toilets at each end and most trains in Asia also have a restaurant carriage.
