  Back in 2013, we removed all instances of orphanage tourism from our trips when research revealed
a direct relationship between the increase in the number of orphanages in developing nations and the increase in tourism numbers.
Children working and living in tourist areas are especially vulnerable to physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Travellers have a part to play in creating a safer environment for children – our small actions can make a big difference to help protect children from exploitation.

We operate our treks on the ethics of minimal impact, adhering to Leave No Trace's Seven Principles:
By joining one of our adventures in Asia you are directly supporting positive impacts in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs).
We’ve calculated the carbon emitted on each trip and offset it by purchasing credits that support the Bac Lieu Wind Energy project in Vietnam. This project addresses the following SGDs:
