Chic and stylish for just 20 guests, the luxury expedition yachts Origin, Theory & Evolve provide an intimate and exclusive environment that emphasize the destination’s awe inspiring wildlife while minimizing impact on the delicate ecosystem. The names were inspired by Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution and Origin of Species and operate as “floating five-star boutique hotel's.” They are part of the esteemed Relais & Chateaux collection and benefit from the strength of this prestigious luxury travel brand.

Design: chic interiors by local interior designer with curated art and contemporary understated décor. The interiors are inspired by the calming nature of Galapagos, incorporating minimalist-chic with exotic stone, petrified wood, and agate lamps in a relaxed setting.

Speed & Comfort: travelling at a maximum speed of 14 knots allows more time for exploration. The curved bow cuts through waves for smooth sailing. Fixed stabilizing fins combined with bilge keels and a wave-piercing bow design; all methods to substantially reduce rolling motion.

All ships are identical in design, size and facilities and on booking you will be allocated a berth on any of the ships depending on availability.

Cabin Types

Designer Stateroom

Designer staterooms located on the main deck feature panoramic windows with expansive un-obstructed views; with double twin beds or a King-size bed. Triple accommodations are available with a pullman berth; additionally, two sets of cabins can be inter-connecting, and ideal for a family of four or five.

Cabin Amenities - Vanity and lighted mirror, sectional closet with drawers, flat screen TV with pre-loaded movies, Universal docking station, USB, clock, Safety deposit box, climate control, memory foam mattress, reading lights, blackout curtains, Nespresso machine, tea kettle, binoculars, and refillable water bottle. Bathrooms are modern and bright with a walk-in rainfall shower, plush towels, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, vanity kit, dispensers with bio-degradable soap, shampoo, body wash and lotion.

Cabins are cleaned three times daily. Laundry service is available Monday to Friday for an additional charge.

Premium Suite

PREMIUM SUITE - The connecting cabins are converted into a suite featuring two deluxe staterooms joined by a connecting door with his and hers bathrooms, a bedroom with a king size bed or two twins and a separate living room with an ocean-front view. SUITES may not be available on festive or family departures.

Additional Amenities Included with the SUITES: Premium brands of beverages (excluding champagne), free laundry service, Upgrade to Premium seats on the flights to Galapagos (or PLUS if not available), Access to VIP lounge in San Cristobal on departure day, and customized Panama hats or bathrobes and other welcome gifts to use during your stay and take home.
