Accommodation

Comfortable crusing vessel

Our vessel, specifically designed for expedition cruising, features cabins that range from triple and twin berths to spacious suites, accommodating all budgets and tastes. While most cabins have private bathrooms, some are shared between a small number of other cabins. Public areas include a dining room, lecture room, bar and library lounge and infirmary with a medical officer on board.

Hotels

You will be accommodated in hotels that have been selected for their location, level of comfort and atmosphere. Rooms are on a twin share basis, and the hotels feature a swimming pool and restaurant.

A custom made itinerary is the ultimate way to see the world how YOU want. They are created especially for you, giving you complete freedom to choose what you want to see, where you want to go and when you want to do it. If you love our current itineraries but want to customise it privately as a couple, a group of friends, family, club, business or school, you have the freedom to add or remove as many elements as you like to suit the interests of your group. Visas

No visa is required for most travellers as a visitor’s permit can be granted upon arrival into the Solomon Islands. You do not need a visa to enter the Solomon Islands if you are a Commonwealth citizen, a citizen of the United States, or a citizen from most European countries. A passport must be valid for six months beyond the date of planned departure from the islands. www.commerce.gov.sb.

Citizens of some countries may still require prior approval before entering Solomon Islands as a visitor, please consult with your local embassy prior to travel. There is a list of countries whose citizens do require prior approval on the Solomon Islands Government Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Labour and Immigration website.

We strongly recommend that all clients take out travel insurance at the time of booking to cover against sickness, accident, loss of baggage, unexpected alterations to travel arrangements and travel disruption, emergency evacuation, cancellations, etc. Insurance information is enclosed with your pre-departure information. We suggest that you consult your doctor, local government inoculation centre or a travel medical specialist in order to get the most current advice regarding vaccination requirements.

Money and valuables should always be stored safely when travelling. Keep your passport with you at all times and do not leave it in your main luggage. You will need it to change money and check into hotels. Where safety deposit boxes are available, we recommend that you use them. Keep jewellery and valuables to a minimum.
