The polar regions offer some of the most extraordinary travel experiences on Earth - remote, pristine environments defined by dramatic ice landscapes and exceptional wildlife.
Exploring these regions by ship provides rare access to places few people ever reach, from the frozen wilderness of Antarctica to the wildlife-rich Arctic.
World Expeditions offers a carefully curated selection of On Water Expeditions to Antarctica and the Arctic, operated by leading specialist expedition cruise partners. Our program brings together a wide range of polar voyages, allowing you to compare styles, departure dates and inclusions - all in one place - with the confidence of booking through a trusted adventure travel specialist.
From expedition cruising and zodiac landings to optional activities such as kayaking and photography-focused voyages, our polar journeys are designed to maximise time in these remarkable environments.
With expert advice, seamless booking and a long-standing reputation in adventure travel since 1975, World Expeditions makes accessing the world’s great polar voyages simpler, clearer and more rewarding.

Our vessels are specifically designed with expedition cruising in mind. Cabins range from quadruple berths right through to spacious suites, accommodating all budgets and tastes. Most cabins have private bathrooms; however some share a bathroom between a small number of other cabins. Public areas include dining quarters, lecture theatres, a bar and a library and some of our ships also have spas and gymnasiums aboard.
Our expedition teams are highly skilled professionals with years of experience in remote wilderness environments. Your expedition leader along with the accompanying staff will ensure you get the most out of your experience by sharing their wealth of knowledge. Geologists, naturalists, ornithologists, historians, botanists and archaeologists are frequently found aboard our polar cruises!
