World Expeditions is Australia’s first adventure travel company, pioneering responsible, small group adventure travel since 1975.

Our story began in the Himalaya, where we led our very first trek into Nepal. That journey set the course for everything that followed: immersive, active adventures that go beyond the mainstream, tread lightly on the planet, and create meaningful connections with people and place.

We own our Australian and New Zealand operating companies outright, and in Nepal our trips are run by a team that works exclusively for World Expeditions. Elsewhere we work with specialist local operators, many of those relationships spanning decades.

Fifty years on, we're still taking travellers off the beaten track - and we haven't looked back.
