Enjoy a hearty breakfast before meeting your fellow travelers and guide for a briefing on the exciting journey ahead. Our first stop is Springdale, Utah, the gateway to Zion National Park. As we venture into Zion, you'll be greeted by breathtaking vistas of towering sandstone cliffs, lush greenery, and serene canyons. After exploring this awe-inspiring park, we'll head to our hotel to freshen up before enjoying a group dinner together in town. Hotel: Bumbleberry Inn or similar Drive Time: 2.5 hours / 158 miles (254 km)

Start the day with an early breakfast before heading back into Zion for a full day of exploration. Whether you're in the mood for a challenging hike like Angel's Landing or prefer a more relaxed walk along the Emerald Pools, Zion’s stunning landscapes have something for everyone. Along the way, we’ll stop in charming small towns and scenic viewpoints before arriving at our hotel, just a short distance from the park. In the afternoon, stretch your legs with a walk through Bryce’s magical scenery before settling in for the night. Hotel: Bryce View Lodge or similar Drive Time: 2 hours / 85 miles (140 km)

Today is all about immersing yourself in Bryce Canyon’s otherworldly landscapes. Spend the day hiking along its stunning trails, both above and below the canyon’s rim, taking in the panoramic views and unique rock formations. After a full day of exploration, relax at the hotel. Our adventure continues as we head toward Capitol Reef National Park, a hidden gem with rugged red rock cliffs, ancient petroglyphs, and the iconic Waterpocket Fold. After exploring some of the park’s scenic hiking trails, we’ll travel to the peaceful town of Torrey, surrounded by stunning rock formations and tranquil valleys, where we’ll spend the night. Hotel: Red Sands Hotel & Spa or similar Drive Time: 2 hours / 107 miles (175 km)

The morning begins with a relaxed sightseeing excursion through Capitol Reef National Park before we set out for Moab, a vibrant hub for outdoor adventure enthusiasts. Nestled between Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, Moab offers endless opportunities for exploration. After arriving in Moab, the evening is yours to explore the lively town or simply unwind. Hotel: Moab Valley Inn or similar Drive Time: 3.75 hours / 160 miles (260 km)

Prepare for a full day of discovery as we head into Arches National Park, home to over 2,000 natural stone arches and some of the most iconic geological formations in the American Southwest. We’ll hike scenic trails and visit famous landmarks like Delicate Arch and Landscape Arch before returning to Moab in the evening, where you can choose to continue exploring or rest after an active day. Hotel: Moab Valley Inn or similar Drive Time: 1 hour

Today, we explore the vast beauty of Canyonlands National Park. Known for its dramatic canyons, mesas, and buttes, Canyonlands offers breathtaking views and rugged hiking trails. After a full day of adventure, we’ll return to Moab for a special farewell dinner with the group to celebrate the end of our incredible journey. Hotel: Moab Valley Inn or similar Drive Time: 1.5 hours each way

After breakfast, we’ll set out on our final drive to Salt Lake City, where our national park adventure will come to an end. Upon arrival, we’ll check into the hotel and you’ll have the rest of the day to relax or explore the city at your own pace. Hotel: Crystal Inn or similar Drive Time: 3.75 hours / 250 miles (400 km)

About Your Leader

Most of our USA guides (many of European descent) have been certified from local tour director schools. All tour leaders are certified in First Aid and CPR and registered as official guides with the national parks. All of them are trained to guide hikes. Most are bilingual and many of our departures are conducted in English as well as one other language (typically German however it might be other languages as well).
