Bhutan Snowman Trek
For experienced trekkers ready for the most remote corners of the Himalaya
The Snowman Trek is Bhutan's benchmark exploratory route: a journey crossing ten to eleven passes above 4,500m through the isolated Lunana region on the Tibetan border, camping alongside yak herders beneath Jomolhari and Jichu Drake. It's undertaken by only a handful of trekkers each season, and ranks among the toughest treks in the Himalaya.
Every trek runs as a small group with an expert guide, full camping support and safety equipment built for sustained time above 4,000m. these routes are for trekkers with solid multi-day experience who've done the introductory trips and want to go further into the country than most itineraries reach.
