Powered by Flight Centre and World Expeditions, the Community Million Dollar Challenge is like no other travel fundraising initiative. To take part, simply register to take on one of our twelve inspiring adventure challenges in 2020 or 2021 then raise a minimum of $2000 for the challenge’s nominated charity.

Imagine arriving at Machu Picchu, setting foot on the summit of Kilimanjaro, walking along China’s Great Wall or even trekking to Everest Base Camp knowing that you made a real difference for the many charities associated with the Community Million Dollar Challenge. HOW TO REGISTER IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS

1. Choose a challenge

For some of you, the toughest past of the Community Million Dollar Challenge will be deciding which one to do!

Choose from 12 different challenges across the world, including some exciting Australian challenges. We are offering one challenge a month from January 2020 to December 2021 to destinations as diverse as Everest Base Camp in Nepal to the Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory.

2. COMPLETE A REGISTRATION FORM

Once you have decided on a Challenge, download and complete the Registration Form. Then, return it to any Flight Centre agent in Australia along with your non refundable $150pp registration fee.

Once your place is confirmed you will be sent a welcome pack which will contain:

Information to help you fundraise for your challenge
A link to your personal GoFundraise fundraising page - which we will kickstart by adding $100 to
Information to help you prepare for the challenge

3. Start Fundraising for your Challenge

There are a number of ways that you can approach your fundraising:

Use the GoFundraise fundraiser page that we will send to you to share with friends, relatives, work colleagues, across your social media accounts and encourage everyone to get behind your effort and donate towards your $2000 target. All donations are tax deductible to the individuals.
Pay the fundraising target personally and receive the tax deduction yourself
Get your employer involved to reach an agreement where they match dollar for dollar 50% of your fundraising target, so that you donate $1000 and they donate the remaining $1000 which means you both receive a tax deductible receipt. Check if your employer already has a Workplace giving account with Good2Give.
