Inca Rivers Trek - Better than the Inca Trail!

The Inca Trail is South America’s most iconic trek and certainly one of our most popular. This popularity has come at a price however and now it is one of the busiest trails around, which has led to the Peruvian Government to implement strict controls (through permits) on the number of trekkers that can be on the trail at any one time. The way the permit system works often makes it difficult (near impossible) to get permits unless you book at least 12 months in advance.

World Expeditions has been operating treks in Peru for over 25 years and while we still offer a range of treks that include the Inca Trail, we have pushed our team on the ground to pioneer alternative treks in the region.
