This is a truly memorable journey, full of wonderful wildlife opportunities. Experience the incredible sights and sounds of Botswana whilst staying in well-appointed accommodation with plenty of local charm. The pristine and varied wilderness areas of Botswana will leave a lasting impression, and are showcased entirely on this premium safari through the Okavango Delta by mokoro, the Chobe River on a safari cruise, and the Makgadikgadi Pans with its striking Baobab trees. Game drives in Moremi Wildlife Reserve initiate our enthusiasm for wildlife where elephant, hippo, buffalo, lion and other big game can be seen in abundance. Staying in these beautiful national parks allows a full appreciation of their unique habitats, spectacular scenery, magnificent sunsets and great diversity of wildlife. Finally we are able to witness the awe-inspiring sight of water thundering over Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

The tour starts at 15:00hrs on Day 1 with a group meeting in the foyer of the Sprayview Hotel. The afternoon is free to view Victoria Falls - without doubt one of the greatest and most spectacular sights in Africa. The following morning is spent at leisure to browse the local markets, to experience the many optional activities on offer in the adrenalin capital of Africa including white water rafting, bungi jumping, microlighting/airplane or helicopter flights over the Falls and to visit the Falls (own expense). Overnight Sprayview Hotel (or similar accommodation).

Departing after breakfast, we travel through Botswana to the Nata area. Late afternoon we visit the Makgadikgadi Pans for a truly unforgettable sunset over what remains of an ancient 6500km2 lake. Overnight Nata Lodge (or similar).

A 3 hour drive takes us to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta and Moremi Wildlife Reserve. We change from our overland vehicle into open 4x4 vehicles and proceed to our accommodation situated at the edge of Moremi game reserve. Moremi is lush and varied, shallow flooded pans, plains and forests. It is one of Africa's finest areas for wildlife, with particularly high game densities including all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species in the region and over 400 species of birds. Days are spent enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in the private concession and inside Moremi. Overnight Shokomoka Safari Lodge (or similar). Note: Lunch on day 5 is included.

A 3 hour transfer takes us back to Maun. The afternoon is free for an optional 1 hr scenic flight over the vast Okavango Delta (own expense). Overnight Cresta Maun Hotel (or similar).

Driving round the pan handle we traverse to the north west of the Okavango Delta. We arrive at Swamp Stop and our lodge on the edge the Okavango Delta. The following day we transfer by boat 30 minutes into the Delta. We do mokoro and boat excursions in the back channels of the Nxamasire area of the Delta. Game walks are also done on the smaller islands in the area subject to water levels of the delta. Lunch is included on Day 8 only. Overnight Swampstop chalets (or similar).

Departing the Delta we return to our vehicle and we cross into Namibia. We continue to the Eastern side of the Caprivi Strip and arrive at our lodge overlooking the flood plains of the Kwando River. A lush area teeming with wildlife and birdlife. Overnight Zambezi Mubala Lodge (or similar accommodation).

Crossing back into Botswana we overnight on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery, magnificent sunsets and abundance of wildlife and birdlife. The afternoon of arrival is free for an optional game drive (own account). On Day 11 we enjoy a morning game drive, and in the afternoon we relax on a sunset game-viewing cruise on the Chobe River. Overnight Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar accommodation).

The tour ends today after breakfast with a transfer to Kasane Airport or Victoria Falls Airport for onward flight.
