1 – UNCROWDED TRAILS

Certain trails, like the route to Everest Base Camp, is popular with trekkers from all over the world, particularly in October and November as well as March and April. On lower altitude trails under 3000m in months like September, October, April and May, it can get hot. January and February being winter time bring cooler days, and clearer skies. Day time temperatures, even at high altitude, are really favourable (crisp) when you are exercising.  

Also, exploring Kathmandu's temples and markets are far more pleasant with average daytime temperatures hovering between 10 and 20 degrees celsius.
