Vietnam Cycling Adventures
From Mekong backroads to the full length of the country
Vietnam is one of Asia's most rewarding countries to explore by bike. It's a long, narrow land where flat delta backroads, misty highland plateaus and a coastline of fishing villages can all fit into a single journey. Riding at the pace of a bicycle draws you into the rhythm of rural life, from floating markets and Khmer-style temples to farmers working the rice paddies.
Our cycling trips start with relaxed self-guided rides through the Mekong Delta's rice paddies, coconut groves and riverside villages. At the other end is a full journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, linking the south and north through the Central Highlands and along the central coast. In the north, rides through Pu Luong follow river valleys and rice terraces past ethnic minority villages. On selected routes, e-bikes make the highland climbs possible for more riders. Whichever route you choose, cycling through Vietnam is a close-up way to experience a country whose hospitality you feel most clearly from the saddle.
